What is CyberShujaa?

Cyber Shujaa project is a youth focused program that is spearheaded and funded by Serianu Limited, Kenya Bankers Association (KBA), United States International University - Africa (USIU-A) and Challenge Fund for Youth Employment (CFYE) based out of the Netherlands. Cyber Shujaa was officially launched on Wednesday 23rd March 2022. Our program aims to upskill and eventually connect young people with quality IT and Cybersecurity positions that utilize their skills and align with their passion for meaningful work.

The program targets youth aged between 18 years to 35 years who are interested in cybersecurity careers or want to advance their career in the cybersecurity industry. Since the program is building specialists in cybersecurity, applicants need to have a solid Information Systems and Technology background. Priority will be given to those who have already graduated from IT-related diploma/degree programs but are still unemployed.
